Hey people!
Is this... a journal! Well yes it is!
I have not updated since... uh,.... may? wow that is a long time!
So a lot of shit has been going down.
A new school year, new interests, activities and the like. Why have I not updated?
Well lets put it simply...

I have put other things before (visual) art for the time being.

In fact, this pattern may last the rest of the year.
Don't get me wrong though. I have actually been improving my sketch process and the like. But I must hold off scanning and the like. As an addition, my laptop (an old toshiba satellite from 2000)that runs photoshop, is pretty much shot. It takes a good five mins. to load up just to the login screen. I have defragged, blown out dust, cleaned parts, cleared memory, and taken great care of the laptop, but I believe its final resting will arrive soon. So until I get a new copy of any Photoshop CS, I will be holding off upon my manga-style art on DA.

But, you are probably thinking "you mainly do photography! Wtf is going on there!"

Well, you can blame that on choir. (haha, what the hell?)
Yes, choir. like singing. I am in camerata, the high level choir at school.
I was originally planning upon taking photography, but I was almost forced into choir after the teacher heard me perform a song with my guitar, while singing. This took the exact place of my wanted elective, photography 1.
Thus, I have been replacing photography with, uh, music.
And to be honest, I don't really regret being in choir.
The practice and usage of my voice, like any instrument, has improved. And this works out in my grand scheme of things.
Our band has been slow, but I have worked hard to get to the point where I feel confident we can do well in a good venue.
Singing, has been quite fun for the band, doing everything from original material, to the misfits for Halloween, weezer, green day, and the like.

We are finally becoming what we want to be, a fully functional and good sounding, band.

There are currently three people. Ian (drums, synth), Davis (guitars, bass, mixing, vocals), and I (guitars, bass, keys, synth, vocals). We are planning to enter the Grandview battle of the bands this year, and do great. We were hoping to do so last year, but Ian had broken his wrist snowboarding, thus no practice, recording, and then no show (boy was I pissed)
So this year, we are gearing up to kick supreme ass.

Moving on to the next topic... (does this count as organization?)

Academics. A pain in the ass, but helpful.
I will admit, I slacked at the beginning of the year. I have all honors and AP classes. And slacking in those, well, didn't do me much good. So right now, i am working hard to catch up. And I am almost to where I should be, thus I am proud of myself for recovering out of a quite retarded hole. So this was also a time consumer upon my activities.

Halloween is just around the corner! My favorite time of the year. I love autumn in Colorado. It is so pretty!
We, being my friends and I, are running a haunted house, well barn really. It is nothing elaborate, but admission is a canned food item, which will be donated to a local food store for the homeless. We hope it goes well, and I believe it will be tons of fun!

Another reason to like autumn. My birthday is almost hither! I hope to get some cool stuff this year! namely a Zune HD (Zune FTW). I tested one out the other day. It is just so much better than a touch in terms of usage and functionality.
I turn my sw33t 16 (OMG, my real age!) on November 8th. So hooray!
